I must admit to admit that this is actually my first "autoayuda" book, but it wasn't a bad book at all, it's one of those books that come to you in the most perfect time of your life in order to open your eyes and make you see things different, I think everybody who has read this book has been in one of those "I was like that" thoughts, so, if you are going through a rough time, I recommend you to read it.
And yeah, it's pretty lame that I am saying this hahaha. Excellent mix of scientific rigour and approachable narrative. Written in a very elegant yet concise way, the author dissects every aspect of emotional dependency and guides the reader through the process of acknowledging one's dependent traits, understanding where they may come from and finally have actionable strategies to counter them in order to love in a more mature and sensible manner.
