The Prelude in B minor J. Johann Sebastian Bach reused the piece in a slightly different form as the tenth prelude in the first volume of his The Well-Tempered Clavier. The piece has been performed by many pianists, including Emil Gilels. Most of the pieces were composed by Johann Sebastian Bach, and are better known as parts of the Well-Tempered Clavier and the Inventions and Sinfonias. The authorship of some of the other pieces is debated; in particular, some of the famous Little Preludes , BWV —, are sometimes attributed to Wilhelm Friedemann Bach, not to Johann Sebastian Bach.
