The Foundation works in Warsaw and its activities are mainly focused on assistance to refugees, repatriates, immigrants, their integration and pre- integration with the Polish society, as well as ongoing assistance to the difficulties encountered by them. At the outset, I got into an explanation of all the definitions related to the theme of my work and introduced as foreigners situation has changed in Poland since In the first chapter, I have included a review of legal norms at both national and international levels concerning the entry of an foreigners to Poland as well as the principles of residence in its territory. In this chapter I also posted statistics on the structure of foreigners in Poland which consists of the several graphs and tables that illustrate what nationality is the most numerous between foreigners in Poland and what kind of the documents they received to legalize their residence.

The aim of the class is to learn the basic of multivariate analysis in sociology with SPSS. The classes combine learning of the theory and its application in practice using sociological data. The course begins with return to basic techniques and application in data analysis. Them it moves to main analytical problems in social research: building typologies on cases and variables reliability analysis, factor analysis, quick cluster and hierarchical clustering , building and interpretation the complex multivariate explanatory models linear regression, logistic regression, MCA and analysis of variance. The models are constructed for different types of variables: nominal, interval or temporal survival models and Cox-regression , and different type of scales, and characteristics of independent and dependent variables. That is why, in order to select a correct research methods for the sake of carried—out research, one is required to be familiar with differences between determined research methods or approaches in social science methodology. While determining the research problem it is difficult to select a single method allowing to fully diagnose the given problem. It is necessary to employ diverse research methods allowing to provide answers to the posed problem. Thus, it is a necessity to make use of numerous methods and research approaches.
