Cosmopolitan democracy , as Archibugi's concepts represents the democracy in which the cosmopolitan ideas should be promoted together with the idea of joint strategy for solution of contemporary ecological problems, besides of all, climate changes. The main hypothesis of this research paper is that climate changes system must be criticized and changed toward the more applicable concepts in post modernity. Sociological critic and deconstruction as method has shown that sustainable development is concept that was fundamental approach towards the environment in modernity, but as we approach its end and move forward to post modernity, other concepts and theories are discovered and authors such as Adam, Haraway, Adams, Beck, and Giddens wrote on their vision of ecological problems.

The course presents variety of methodological approaches and favors actors vs. Attention is paid to the classical and contemporary authors in political sociology: Weber, Schumpeter, Giddens, Habermas, Castells, etc.
The general topics covered include the state and civil society, elites, public opinion, propaganda, political culture, citizenship, civic participation, social movements, non-governmental organizations, political parties, globalization, identities, etc.
The course extends the knowledge in political sociology science of relationships between politics and society, acknowledging that political actors, including governments, political parties, pressure groups and social movements, operate within a wider social context. The course enables the theoretically informed and analytically rigorous evidence-based exploration of socio-political phenomena during the later courses of the Economics and Politics program.

Mid-term examinations include testing learning outcomes on the level of recalling, understanding and application of knowledge to new facts. Full-time students are permited to attend mid-term exams if they have one or less absences from respective lecture group. Students who did not pass the exam through mid-term examinations will take written examination during regular examination periods. Students may not take oral examination until they have passed the written part mid-term examinations or written examination.
