The users manual seams extemely poor, just a breaf description of knobs fuction, and how to perform the basic tests. I red that the C is called "engineers tube tester" or "research and development tube tester", so I belive it is at least a waste of money, using this tester just to see if a tube is good or bad. I am an engineer, so I expect something more from this tester
